It is a private limited company that refines crude oil into various petroleum products which are supplied to the country and region.

In order to drive its future growth plans forward the company is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following immediate job vacancies at its Changamwe plant:

Process Engineers (Refinery Technologists)

Brief Job Description:

The successful candidate will act to optimize refinery performance and minimize costs whilst ensuring that KPRL's world-class safety performance is not compromised.

The person will:

• Monitor process units performance and advice on necessary controls to maintain efficient operation
• Provide technical support to the operation and optimization of process units
• Develop both short term and long term projects to improve refinery performance
• Resolve process related issues through process control and troubleshooting
• May be required to work on shift as per the requirement of the job

Required Job Qualifications and Skills:

• University degree, Upper second class honors or higher, in chemical engineering
• 2-3 years previous working experience in a process based manufacturing environment
• Be self confident and possess a strong drive, in order to deliver in a demanding environment.
• Possess excellent analytical abilities, communication and presentation skills
• Be capable of creating and managing change, and influencing senior decision makers.
• Be between the ages of 25 to 35 years
