Quality Assurance Officer II
Based in Nairobi
Job Summary
Reporting to the FOSA Manager, the job holder will be in charge of quality assurance of FOSA operations.

Quality Assurance Officer II
Based in Nairobi
Job Summary
Reporting to the FOSA Manager, the job holder will be in charge of quality assurance of FOSA operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Verifying the integrity of FOSA accountable documents
- Daily monitoring to ensure quality of FOSA processes.
- Ensuring accuracy, completeness and integrity of cash operations.
- Continuous follow up on the implementation of Internal Audit recommendations.
- Preparation of regular Quality Assurance reports and updates on various FOSA Operational matters to the FOSA manager.
- Continuous review of various Internal Control issues and Risk exposures and bringing findings to the attention of the FOSA Manager.
Qualifications
and Competencies
- KCSE Grade B-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field
- CPA II
- Associate of Kenya Institute of Bankers or Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers qualification will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Previous experience of working with an ERP system preferred
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience to this position.
- A person of integrity, team player with effective communication skills.
Risk and Compliance Officer II
Based in Mombasa
Job Summary
Reporting functionally to the Internal Audit Manager at the Head Office and administratively to the Branch Manager, the job holder will be responsible for providing continuous monitoring review of various risk and compliance matters of the Branch.

Reporting functionally to the Internal Audit Manager at the Head Office and administratively to the Branch Manager, the job holder will be responsible for providing continuous monitoring review of various risk and compliance matters of the Branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring to ensure the Branch’s compliance with the Sacco Act, and other regulations.
- Planning and conducting continuous monitoring reviews of Branch operations to ensure compliance with laid down policies, procedures and good banking practice.
- Scheduling and conducting Branch compliance audits and reporting results to the management.
- Conducting Branch risk assessments to identify risk exposures and internal control weaknesses.
- Liaising and coordinating with the Head Office Internal Audit function and External Auditors on all Audit, Risk and Compliance matters.
- Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly risk and compliance reports for Branch.
- Championing the Society’s risk management efforts, at Branch level including the promotion of a strong Risk Management and Internal Control environment
Job Qualifications and
Competencies
- KCSE Grade B-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- CPA K
- CISA or CIA will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Previous experience of working with an ERP system preferably in a banking environment.
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience in audit compliance or risk management.

Branch Accountant II
Based in Mombasa

Reporting to the Finance Manager at the Head Office and administratively to the Branch Manager, the job holder will be responsible for accounting and financial records and the control function of the branch.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out bank reconciliation.
- Ensuring competencies, accuracy and integrity of all accounting records at the branch.
- Daily updating and continuous monitoring of customers’ accounts.
- Producing relevant reports in respect of various categories of customers.
- Undertaking control accounts reconciliations.
- Production of periodic management reports
- Ensuring appropriate liquidity management at the branch.
- Preparing Quality Assurance reports and updates on all operational areas.
Job Qualifications and
Competencies
- KCSE Grade B-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

- Ensuring effective and efficient management of the FOSA operations.
- Coordinating and supervising FOSA activities and ensuring operations are carried out in accordance with the established rules and regulations.
- Maintaining timely, accurate and balanced records pertaining to FOSA operations.
- Maintaining adequate cash reserves in accordance with the FOSA operational procedures.
- Reviewing systems, processes and procedures of FOSA operations and make appropriate recommendations on improvements to the FOSA manager.
- Ensuring that correspondences are promptly and appropriately tackled and that issues pertaining to customer care are competently handled.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or Business related field.
- Post graduate Diploma in business related field or CPA II
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience at supervisory level in banking environment
