Teaching Vacancy for Physical Education - Aga Khan Mombasa

Background

The Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa is an International Baccalaureate World School which seeks to provide students of all backgrounds from primary to higher secondary with an education of the highest standard in order to prepare them for lives characterised by leadership and service.

We invite applications for the position of Teacher of Physical Education at the Academy:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver a relevant broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum for students
• Teach to a high level of PE across a full age range (Junior and Senior School)
• Contribute to the teaching of Junior School swim lessons
• Commitment to contribute to coaching in the swim programme which will include morning, lunchtime, evening sessions and weekend meets
• Support the educational values of the Academy

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent
• Experience in the International Baccalaureate curriculum or strong enquiry based experience
