REA Vipingo Supervisor Kenyan Job

REA Vipingo Plantations Ltd, the leading sisal producer in East Africa, invites applications from suitably qualified Kenya citizens to fill the position of Junior Production Supervisor, reporting to the Production Manager; he or she will:

1. Be involved in planning for both the field and factory operations.

2. Ensure that the tasks assigned are effectively performed to the required standards and specifications.

3. Supervise the head persons assignments; and compile and present daily work reports to the Management.

4. Ensure that Safety & Health regulations are followed by enforcing the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

5. Ensure disciplinary matters among employees at work stations are handled appropriately and promptly.

6. Perform any other duties which may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant Degree in Agriculture from a recognized University.
• At least three (3) years working experience in a busy agricultural field set up.
• Aged 25 years and above.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work with people of diverse cultural back grounds.
• Knowledge on Safety & Health matters is necessary.
• Experience on Sisal and Horticulture will be an added advantage.
