Provision of Efficient, Reliable and Secure System of Cash
Transfer / Distribution to (WFP) Beneficiaries in Different Parts of the
Country
UN WFP Kenya hereby solicits expression of interest (EOI) from competent Financial Institutions for the requirement stated herein.
Description of general requirement
UN WFP Kenya is implementing a programme of cash transfer to 110,000 or more beneficiaries located in different parts of the country.
The amount to be transferred is over 100 million USD for the next 3 years.
UN WFP Kenya wishes to establish a shortlist of financial institutions (herein referred to as the Institution) with capacity to set up, maintain and manage a safe, effective and efficient mechanism of cash transfer/distribution to meet the above requirement.
The shortlisted institutions will be invited to participate in a Request for Proposal which will result in a contract.
UN WFP Kenya hereby invites qualified Financial Institutions, who are duly registered and authorized in accordance with the prevailing laws of Kenya, to collect vendor registration forms for consideration for shortlisting.

- Minimum 3 years trading period
- Certified copy of last 3 years audited accounts.
- Copy of VAT certificate
- Duly completed Vendor Registration Form
- Provide company profile
- Certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation
- Valid reference for similar services provided
- Credit rating certificate from a recognised rating institution
Interested
institutions are requested to send an email to nairobi.procurement@wfp.org and
request for the vendor registration forms not later than Thursday 05th April
2012 14:00 hrs.
The Email must contain full contact details.
Vendor registration forms will be sent by WFP to the interested institutions by email.
The institutions will complete the vendor registration forms, attach all the above seven requested minimum requirement documents/information and send by pouch or hand-delivered, so as to reach WFP, Kenya by Monday, 16th April 2012, 14:00 hrs to the following address:
