Phamaceutical Technologist Job in Kenya

An upcoming chemist in Umoja is looking for a self-driven,ambitious and hardworking pharmaceutical technologist who is able to work under minimal supervision,able to make decisions and follows instructions to detail.

The desired candidate MUST be honest and trustworthy.

Duties and responsibilities.

• Dispensing drugs over the counter in accordance with cap 244
• Interpretation of prescriptions and dispensing them accordingly.
• Identification and reporting of drug errors.
• Able to identify conditions presenting at the chemist and give the correct medication.
• Able to identify drug interactions and adverse drug effects and advice the patient accordingly.

Qualifications.

• Must be registered by the pharmacy and poisons board as a pharmaceutical technologist
• Have good customer care services.
• Have good inventory management skills.
• Must have worked in a busy chemist for a minimum of one year.
