The
Position
A
computer distribution company with affiliates in Europe and the Gulf is set to
open in Kenya and would like to recruit a Business
Development Manager.
The
company is involved in distribution of computer hardware, software and
accessories.
Role
and responsibilities
The
Business Development Manager will be in charge of their Kenyan operations,
reporting to the group CEO, and will be specifically responsible for:
- Leading the local Team and accountable for the overall company performance
- Exploiting existing business opportunities and developing new trade channels
- Optimize the company’s profitability through innovative marketing strategies
- Grow the company’s product portfolio by identifying new market opportunities
- Develop new revenue streams from new products and services
The
candidate
The
ideal candidate should have at least 4 years experience in sales and
marketing.
A
thorough understanding of Computer distribution business in the Kenyan market
is critical.
The
candidate should have a university degree in business, economics, marketing or
IT.
