Architect Interior Designer

Location: Nairobi
 

An international retail Imaging solutions company specializing in showroom designing and Integrated Brand Marketing Communication is looking for an Architect Interior Designer.

The ideal candidate will be conversant with drawings preferably in showroom layout & development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design and build technical solutions that deliver the clients goal and provide our clients with maximum value
• Create detail CAD drawings for entire showroom with material specification & bill of material
• Accurate Drawing interpretation
• Create 1:1 drawings for routing / fabrication
• Have good drawing skills, with the ability to work in three dimensions (3D)
• Creating bill of quantity and bill of materials with complete specifications
• Production of take-off sheets from layout and production drawings
• Conversion of draft designs into final drawings for showroom
• Determining and prescribing formats
• Creating and modifying drawing templates
• Adherence to company design practice and procedures

Education / Skill Requirements:

• A degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Professional training in AutoCAD
• Should be well versed with current versions
• 2-3 years experience working in showroom design environment
• Knowledge about various materials & fabrication processes
• Knowledge of designing software like 3D Max and Corel draw will be an added advantage
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Detail oriented, self-motivated and flexible
• Capable of working under minimum supervision
• A team player
