Record Management Officer

General Scope of the Job
The Record Management Officer is responsible for developing, coordinating and maintaining the Council official records management program, imaging and records systems, document retention, storage, achiving and filing system, mannng the registry, and retrieval systems;
and performs related work as required.
Qualification and experience required
- The ideal candidate must have at least three (3) years’ experience in record management or achiving environment .
- Candidates must be in possession of a degree in record management related field with a diploma in archive management.
- Knowledge of the record management practices is essential.
- An excellent appreciation of common computer applications is desirable.
- Use of the I.R.M.S. software will be an added advantage
- Good Interpersonal skills
