Qualifications
Bachelors
Degree with AIII or FIII (or equivalent from any other recognized Institute)
Responsibilities
and Requirements
- To
maintain systems and controls and make improvements thereon
- To
develop company’s business profile
- To
ensure that desirable insurance practice procedures are maintained and
compliance with Insurance Act
- To
develop new products and establish position in market
- To
ensure accounting records maintained to required standards
- To
develop client base within prudent marketing strategies
- Minimum
20 years experience in insurance institutions
- Proven
insurance knowledge and management skills
- Organizational
ability and leadership qualities
- Motivate
staff to meet challenge and provide efficient service to customers
The
ideal candidate must have served at senior level at branch office and
thereafter at head office in senior management position or served as a Chief
Executive or General Manager in a successful short term insurance company in a
developing country, preferably Tanzania
Must
have working knowledge of treaty and facultative reinsurance placements and
accounting for these reinsurance programmes
