Qualifications;
- Post
graduate Degree in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
Requirements:
- Registered
with Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
- Certificate
of Registration as a Medical Practitioner.
- Experience
of two years and above practicing as general surgeon
Responsibilities/Duties/Qualities:
- Should
provide all the information and risks associated with the surgery to the
patient.
- Should
be able to manage, plan and schedule the surgeries, after studying the
physical condition of the patients.
- After
completion of the surgery, should prepare the case history and provide all
the necessary surgery management care to the patient.
- Manage
surgery services, including planning, scheduling and coordination,
determination of procedures, and procurement of supplies and equipment.
- Provide
consultation and surgical assistance to other physicians and clinical
staffs.
- Should
demonstrate leadership skills, good decision-making power and ready to
work in emergency situations under tremendous pressure
