Stores Officer
Department : Stores and Logistics
Major Responsibilities and Key Tasks
- Managing
and monitoring in-coming and out-going stock through GRV, Warehouse
transfer and Invoices
- Enter
data and edit stock orders in the system, through Pastel
- Assist
in removal of goods from the stores according to authorized
invoices/orders
- Assist
in pricing, labeling and correctly tagging stock in the stores for easy
retrieval of stock
- Inform
the sales team on stocks available for sale
- Inform
and assist the manager on re-ordering of unavailable items
- Monitor
stock ageing and ensure there is minimum dead stock in the store
- Liaise
with the stores management in carrying out weekly stock take
- Promptly
report any stock discrepancies, damages, threats or losses to the store’s
manager
- Ensure
safety of the stores and stock by keeping unauthorized persons out of the
restricted areas
- Ensure
perpetual inventory checking, organization of stock takes and scrutinizing
stock values.
- Ensure
cleanliness and orderly arrangement of the stores at all times
- Any
other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge
and Skills Requirements
- Degree/Diploma
in procurement/supply chain management
- Experience
in working in an ICT firm would be an added advantage
- Must
demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for diversity
- Between
28-35yeras of age
- Salary
package 40-60 gross
- Male
Asian preferred
- Experience
in using Sage-Pastel
- 2-5yrs
of experience in a similar position
