Background and Context
The Finance Clerk supports the finance unit by facilitating signing, collection and follow-up of payments to clients .
Duties and responsibilities
- Facilitate
signing of financial documents.
- Issuance
of cheques and follow-up with clients on collection of the same.
- Manage
the finance unit front desk by responding to routing queries.
- Facilitate
receipt of incoming/outgoing correspondence.
- Retrieve,
copy and file financial information from various sources.
- Maintenance
of a proper filing system for financial records and documents.
Qualifications
Education
Education
- Secondary
Education.
- Training
in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
Experience
- Experience
undertaking similar functions.
- Experience
in clerical work will be an added advantage.
- Experience
in the usage of computers and office software packages and knowledge of
spreadsheet and database packages.
Language
requirements
- Fluency
in English and Kiswahili.
