Client, which is a media and marketing organization focusing on the
youth.
Amongst
its key products being a teen publication is looking for an events manager
Roles and Responsibilities
Should be able to manage a team of event activators, event crew, artists, MC's, security, sound, etc. (manage suppliers related with events production)
Should be able to recruit event crew, event activators, artists, MC's, security, sound, etc. (manage suppliers related with events production)
Should have contacts & relationships with experienced event crew, event activators, artists, MC's, bouncers, police,etc. (need to demonstrate this)
Should be able to develop creative event ideas
Should be able to develop, produce and deliver projects from proposal stage right up to delivery
Should be able to create detailed event budgets (basic knowledge of accounts, Excel, necessary)
Experience working with an events, logistics or projects-based organisation e.g. NGO is very important (at least 3 years' experience)
Qualifications
Graduate’s or masters degree in Marketing / Public Relations or Branding; Training in events management will be an added advantage.
