Vacancy: Finance Manager
Duties and responsibilities:
The Finance Manager will
spearhead the development of business and financial strategy and
planning, monitoring, management and reporting. As head of the Finance
and Department, he/she will be directly responsible for the reporting
staff.

- Establishment of sound financial policies, systems and regulations in compliance with statutory regulations.
- Preparing financial reports and accounts as per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts.
- Will be responsible for Company insurance, import/export administration, licensing, contracts and agreements, legal areas and activities, corporate level
- negotiations (eg premises, plant, trading, acquisitions and divestments, disposals), major supplier/customer/partner relationships, regulatory bodies
- relationships and strategies, approvals and accreditations.
- Will prepare budgets and forecasts for the company and ensure budget control by approving expenditure and communicating targets to the relevant departments
- The Finance & Administration Manager will also be responsible for the administration of the company’s resources
- Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
Qualifications:
- Prospective applicants should posses a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related field. MBA will be an added advantage.
- Must have full CPA(K) qualifications and be a member of ICPAK.
- Applicants should be currently serving in a management position and should have a minimum 5 years post qualification experience in Financial Management and Accounting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in working with an ERP System.
- Experience working for a Clearing & forwarding company will be an advantage
- Must be investment savvy and demonstrate knowledge of the financial and logistics markets.
