The Muslims Education Council (MEC) is a not-for-profit organisation that brings together all the community organisations and stakeholders in education provision within the Muslim community MEC is committed to support and facilitate the provision of high quality education to the community members.
The Assistant Director will support the Director in the management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the activities of the MEC.

Further the office holder will discharge other duties as may be assigned to him by the director from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience required for this Position
- A degree in a relevant discipline;
- At least 2 years’ experience in project management and administration
- Additional qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage
Competencies required for the Position:
- Programme/project management and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Well organized and able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Good team player
- Excellent computer skills particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and database management
- Ability to work independently to meet strict deadlines;
