Salary scale: Kshs 120,270-198,270 p.m.
 

House Allowance Kshs 56,000p.m.
 

Other Allowances

Terms of Service: Term Contract
 

The two posts will be one for each of the following portfolios.
 

1. Energy, Water, Environment and Natural Resources
 

2. Roads, Public Works, Transport and Housing
 

Duties and responsibilities

• The chief officer shall be the accounting and authorized officer in respect to the exercise of delegated powers and shall be responsible to the respective County Executive Member.
• Implementation of policies and development plans.
• Development and implementation of strategic plans.
• Formulate and implement effective programs to vision 2030 and sector goals
• Promote national values and principles of the County Public Service

Requirements for appointments

• Be a Kenyan citizen
• Be a holder of a first degree from a University recognized in Kenya. A masters degree in a relevant field applied for will be an added advantage.
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
• Have knowledge, experience and distinguished career of not less than 10 years in the specific portfolio applied for.
• Women and physically challenged persons are encouraged to apply.
• All candidates must attach requirements of Chapter Six

For a candidate to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution, one must have the following current clearance certificates:

1. A certificate of Good Conduct from the CID
2. A clearance certificate from the HELB
3. A tax compliance certificate from (KRA)
4. A certificate from the EACC
