A leading Sacco operating within Kericho and Bomet Counties is looking for an experienced & qualified person to fill the position of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Reporting to the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership and direction to the Sacco to ensure efficient management of staff and resources.
- Provide leadership in formulation and implementation of best business practices, policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Promote an organizational culture that promotes high member service standards and ethical practices.
- Continuously review the SACCO’s business strategy and recommend appropriate changes in line with the changing business environment.
- Overseeing the daily operations’ management for quality and sustained competitive services to the customers and growth in a profitable way.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in a business/cooperative related field.
- Professional qualification in accounting, banking, micro-finance or marketing will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial position in financial institution operations including planning, budgeting, marketing and credit administration.
- Excellent managerial and organizational development skills with the ability to provide focused leadership.
- Be efficient in personnel management and equipped with efficient interpersonal relationship.
- Be a charismatic individual who commands presence, demonstrates sound decision making and judgment capabilities, integrity, resilience and self-drive.
- Good command and use of Information Technology to drive the organizational goals.
