Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI)
Financial Inclusion for Rural Microenterprises (FIRM) is a USAID funded project supporting three US Government initiatives in Kenya; Feed the Future, Global Climate Change and Power Africa.
FIRM seeks qualified financial services consultants (individuals and companies), with technical expertise and a proven track record in Kenya, to apply for prequalification in one or more of the following areas.
- Agriculture finance and/or agriculture business development services.
- Financial product development, pilot-testing and roll-out; and/or financial institution consulting/training.
- Microinsurance financial product development, pilot-testing and roll-out.
- Business process reengineering/process mapping for financial institutions.
- Strategic business planning and implementation and/or human capital development.
- Islamic banking: Financial services technical experts in the outlined areas in (1 - 5) above with specific focus on sharia compliant finance.
- Financial sector policy reform: Review and development of financial policies to enhance and support financial inclusion.
- Clean and renewable energy: Financial services technical experts with specific focus on clean and renewable energy.
