Request for Expression of Interest - (EOI)

Consultancy Services on ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems, Documentation and Certification Preparation

South Eastern University College (SEUCO) was established as a constituent College of the University of Nairobi as a successor to Ukamba Agricultural Institute (UKAI) through legal notice No.102 of 15th July 2008.

SEUCO in its effort to become an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution, wish to invite expression of interest from competent /specialized firms in consultancy services in areas which include but not limited to the following;

1.   Gap analysis and process determination.

2.   Documentation

3.   Internal audits

4.   Preparation and Application for Certification

5.   Post certification support for continual improvement

This request for EOI is intended to shortlist firms that will participate in the request for proposals (RFP)

Qualification Requirements

The eligible firms should satisfy/ provide the following minimum conditions:

1.   Furnish company information by way of brochures if any or business name and physical address where the business is conducted and contact person.

2.   A description of similar assignments managed in the past on ISO 9001:2008 or evidence of success of the assignments in similar or comparable organizations which have successfully attained certification on ISO 9001:2008.

3.   Certificate of incorporation

4.   Affiliation/Accreditation Certificate

5.   Current Trading License/ Business Permits

6.   Company profile and qualifications of key personnel

7.   Audited Accounts for the last three years

8.   Eight major customers for the last three years in related fields with contact persons.

9.   VAT compliance certificate

10. Legal status of the firm

11. Professional indemnity cover from a reputable Insurance Company

The bids shall be opened immediately thereafter in University College Boardroom A in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will be returned unopened

South Eastern University College reserves the right to accept or reject the Expression of Interest (EOI) in whole or in part and is not bound to give reasons whatsoever for its decision.

Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
