Job Title: Sales Manager – New Vehicles/Used Vehicles Section
Reporting to: General Manager
Specific Performance Standards
1) Ensure Department Targets are Achieve
· Achieve agreed goals, objectives, gross and net sales, profit margins and gross profits
· Plan, measure and managing the market Share
· Budget and target management
· Management of key performance areas as a profit centre
2) Manage department Operations
· Ensuring proper follow-up for all potential buyers by developing, implementing and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system
· Tracking all customers and making sure all leads are logged
· Assisting individual salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and assisting on sales and closing deals, as well as approving all deals made
· Investing on the team
3) Business Development
· Generate new business
· Driving Revenue through new client acquisition
4) Customer Satisfaction Management
· Manage customer development stages from buying, cross-sell, up-sell, complaints and retention process
· Monitoring customer satisfaction ratings for the department
· Customer Retention
5) Management of Vehicles stock
· Stocking availability and ageing
· Preparing stock order, recommending specific car inventory needs by colour, model and based on customer and market analysis
6) Marketing
· Directing advertising efforts for the department
7) Liaison/contact person with Toyota Tsusho Corporations

· Excellent influencing and negotiating skills - able to develop strategic working relationships across the business, in order to achieve business objectives
· Decision making - able to make timely effective decisions and take prompt action to accomplish objectives and goals
· Experience of preparing and managing budgets and assessing costs and benefits
· Strong communication skills
· Over 5 years experience in a similar position
· Must have a valid driving license
Education Requirements
· A strong background in business, mathematics, marketing and computers is useful.
· Leadership experience, involving managing teams, successfully implementing change and motivating staff throughout a change programme
