Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
· Ensure smooth running of the centre under the supervision of the Board of Governors and Trustees.
· Be responsible for preparing the budget of the centre as well as maintaining efficient budgeting, accounting and indenting system to secure ready and adequate means of assessing the centre financial and asset position.
In conjunction with the school principal:
1. Arrange for regular meeting with the senior staff to evaluate progress and iron out cropping problems.
2. Appraise senior staff performance annually and recommend to the Board of Governors salary increment, promotion or other recommendations.
3. Organizing internal staff courses or external ones. This is in order to keep abreast with evolving technical and educational changes taking place in other similar institutions.
4. Maintain discipline in the centre.
· Ensure accounts are audited annually and internal audit quarterly. Present financial position of the centre when required.
· Be in charge of procurement requirement of the centre and will be the custodian of all centre's property.
· Act as secretary to the Board of Governors and the Board of trustees.
· The candidate must adhere to the Islamic code of conduct.
Essential Skills and Experience
· Must have a degree from a recognized university in Sociology, psychology, Education, Business Management, Accounting or strategic planning. Those with a Master degree stand a better chance.
· Must have been in similar management position for a minimum of 5 years.
· Age between 35 to 50 years.
