The Government of Algeria is offering five (5) Scholarships to Kenyan students in the following specialties:
(a) Undergraduate Courses in French Language

(a) Undergraduate Courses in French Language
- Medicine: One (01)
- Dental Surgery: One (01)
- Agronomy: One (01)
Eligibility
The applicants for undergraduate should be:

- Holders of a minimum of KCSE grade B (Plain) with strong grades in the subjects relevant to the desired course (at least B Plain)
- Under 23 years of age
- Those who completed school not more than three years ago and have original KCSE Certificate.
(b)
Postgraduate (Masters and Doctorate) in French language
- Mathematics and informatics: One (01)
- Science of matter: One (01)

The applicants for Postgraduate should be:

- Those serving in the Public Sector
- Those who have completed at least two (2) years of continuous service since their last degree studies
- Those who graduated in the last ten (10) years
- Under 34 years for Masters and have 1st or Upper 2nd class Honours degree from a recognized university
- Under 44 years for PhD degree and must be holders of Masters degree from a recognized university

Preliminary application forms are obtainable from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology offices at Telposta Towers, 27th floor room 2702.
The application forms can also be downloaded from the Ministry’s website:

Candidates for postgraduate courses should submit their application forms through their heads of departments.
Completed application forms with attached certified photocopies of ID, academic/professional certificates, transcripts, Birth Certificate, other testimonials and a proposal in the area of study should be sent to:
