geographically or economically marginalised populations which mainly constitute
rural population.
Work covered under this theme area includes agricultural finance, community-based finance and microfinance.
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager, Rural Finance to support the creation of a platform for inclusion through provision of rural finance.
Based full time in Nairobi, Kenya the position holder will:

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager, Rural Finance to support the creation of a platform for inclusion through provision of rural finance.
Based full time in Nairobi, Kenya the position holder will:
- Identify opportunities for financial market development in line with FSD strategy and current business plan.
- Market FSD’s programme to high potential partners across the private sector, non profit institutions and government.
- Support development of appropriate projects and provide oversight and technical support to partners in implementation of projects.
- Disseminate results from projects and represent FSD in relevant project and other stakeholder forums.

- Possess relevant professional qualifications (minimum of first degree).
- Have at least 5 years or more of progressive work in financial services sector.
- Demonstrate clear understanding of rural finance.
- Have strong project management skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills (written and oral) and analytical skills.
