Laboratory Systems Strengthening Project
The MSH Kenya Laboratory Systems Strengthening Project calls for Expression of Interest from individuals with expertise in the following technical areas;
Capacity Building
Interested individuals will demonstrate their ability to provide short term consultancy services in selected capacity building activities. Extensive relevant capacity building expertise, knowledge, competencies, and experience in the:-

Laboratory Systems Strengthening Project
The MSH Kenya Laboratory Systems Strengthening Project calls for Expression of Interest from individuals with expertise in the following technical areas;
Capacity Building
Interested individuals will demonstrate their ability to provide short term consultancy services in selected capacity building activities. Extensive relevant capacity building expertise, knowledge, competencies, and experience in the:-
- Strategic planning development process
- Planning and Budgeting for district level public health and laboratory services
- Grant Proposal Development and Management for health service delivery
- Scientific Writing for sharing scientific laboratory information at international conferences and Publishing in peer review journals
Document
Editing
The project calls for interest from qualified and interested individuals, or organizations with a pool of seasoned document editors to provide editing services for a series of Health / Medical related documents, materials and technical reports for use at various health settings.
The primary responsibility of the editorial team will be to edit documents such as guidelines. The editor is also required to index the content, layout the table of content, layout the appendices and annexes and may be asked to review figures and tables and captions in the material to prepare the draft for publication/ printing.
The eligible vendor will be required to furnish samples of their recent work; recently edited or published health / medical related documents / books.
Mapping of Medical Laboratory - Related Attributes
The project calls for expression of interest from qualified Surveyors who must be registered with the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (Land Surveyors’ Chapter) and have knowledge and experience in the application of GPS technology.
Interested individuals for all areas of interest under the Laboratory Systems Strengthening Project are required to submit their detailed letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, current company profile (if applicable) with names and contact information of the company’s technical team (telephone and e-mail address).
If available, information on similar projects undertaken by the individual/company in the recent past can be included in the application. This expression of interest does not guarantee availability of short term consultancy or work.
Detailed scopes of work will be provided as and when appropriate in the selection process. Eligible vendors may be invited to undergo competitive selection that may include making a presentation and provide samples before the final selection.

FANIKISHA Institutional Strengthening Project
Call for Civil Society Organization (CSOs)
Expression of Interests (EOI)
The FANIKISHA Institutional Strengthening project is a five-year Cooperative Agreement (2011-2016), funded by USAID / Kenya and implemented by Management Sciences for Health (MSH), Pact Inc., Danya International, and the Regional Aids Training Network (RATN). FANIKISHA aims to strengthen the capacity of four - eight national level CSOs to build / strengthen their financial, human resources and management systems, monitoring and evaluation systems, strategic planning skills, leadership and governance skills, and advocacy capacity to play a more strategic role in working with the government of Kenya and other stakeholders to deliver effective health services at the community level.
Mentored Institutional Strengthening (IS) sub-grants will be provided to participating CSOs in project year (PY) 1 and 2 while additional sub-grants to strengthen their affiliate institutional capacity and for program implementation will be provided from PY 3.
FANIKISHA now seeks EOI applications from Kenyan CSOs with a national mandate. The EOI will be used by the independent FANIKISHA Institutional Strengthening Committee of Advisors (FCA) to invite prequalified applicants to submit the Technical Institutional Strengthening & FANIKISHA engagement proposal.
