Sidai Africa Ltd is a new company in Kenya offering high quality veterinary and other livestock services through a network of branded franchises.

Franchised outlets operating under the Sidai brand will be owned and staffed by qualified veterinarians and livestock technicians.

Sidai Africa will endeavor to ensure that all products sold through the network will be of the highest quality and regularly test them where necessary.

Over time new products (vaccines, feeds etc) will be offered to customers together with a range of new services (diagnostic tests, insurance and other financial services, goat AI etc).

Emphasis will be placed on offering preventative herd and flock health care to enable customers to have all the products and advice they need to raise healthy and productive livestock.

Extension Services Veterinarian

2 Positions

Eldoret and Narok

Sidai Africa Ltd invites applications for the above position.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Regional Technical Supervisor, the extension services veterinarian will each be based in Eldoret and Narok region.

They will have 3 main areas of responsibility:

1. Provide extension services to farmers to ensure better on farm animal management practices – Heard health approach
2. Training of farmers
3. Overall oversight of the Company Run Store

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Minimum 1 year of successful experience in similar position with both excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Minimum 2 years of successful experience in similar position.
• Business management skills and experience will be highly advantageous.
• Valid motorbike riding license mandatory.
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills.

Company Shop Assistant

1 Position

Narok

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Technical Supervisor, will be based in Narok, has 1 main area of responsibility which is to provide technical support at company shop to customers.

Qualifications

Required:

• Diploma in Animal Health/ livestock production/dairy technology.
• Minimum 1 year of successful experience in similar position.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

A.I. Technician/Company Shop Assistant

1 Position

Narok

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Technical Supervisor, will be based in Narok, has 2 main areas of responsibility:

1. Provide technical support at company shop to customers
2. Provide A.I. and extension services.

Qualifications

Required:

• Diploma in Animal Health/ livestock production/dairy technology, A.I. Training and minimum 1 year successful experience.
• Motorbike riding license mandatory
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills.

Positions are available immediately.
