VSO Jitolee is a member of the VSO International Federation based in Nairobi, with an East African regional mandate to promote volunteerism and recruit skilled professionals from Kenya and Uganda.
These professionals serve as volunteers in VSO programmes in 44 countries in Africa, Asia, the Pacific and Latin America. In addition, we contribute to Kenya’s national development through working with local partners in the areas of disability, health and secure livelihoods.

- Fundraisers, Resource Mobilisation, Specialists in Grant Management and Partnership Development.
HIV
and AIDS Programme Developers
(HIV-02-KE)
HIV and AIDS Programming, Advocacy and Policy Formulation, Treatment and Care, HIV and AIDS Project Specialists, Gender and HIV and AIDS.
Natural Resource Management
(NRM-03-KE)
Agriculturalists, Horticulturalists, Agribusiness, Marketing and Product Development Professionals and Livestock Specialists.
Organization Development Advisors
(OD-04-KE)
Specialists in Organisational Design and Management, Strategic Planners, NGO Managers, HR Management and Communication Specialists.
You will need a relevant university degree and more than 4 years work experience in the skill areas listed above.
You should be willing to work overseas for 1 to 2 years and be ready to depart with in the next 3-4 months.
Commitment to using your skills to make a positive and lasting impact towards the development of some of the most disadvantaged communities in the world will be key to your success in the volunteering experience. Knowledge of working with vulnerable groups will be an added advantage.
We will support a modest lifestyle, cover your travel expenses as well as provide medical and insurance cover.
