Job Title: Oracle Report Writer

Location: Mombasa

One of the largest manufacturers of high quality edible vegetable oils & fats, margarine, and laundry & toilet soaps in the East and Central African region.

Main Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining Reports for ORACLE E-business Suite.
• Work with the super users and IT functional consultants to define the reporting requirements of the organizations
• Analyze and document reporting requirements and maintain necessary approvals before progressing on a project.
• Maintain technical specifications for reports and interfaces with proper commenting as required for other to understand the code.
• Develop management dashboards for summarizing data and converting the same to information.
• Testing and troubleshooting of existing and new reports with respect to data and performance.
• Maintaining Report versioning and list of all customizations performed in order to test the same during patch rollout or version up gradation.

Require Qualifications and Experience

• A University degree in the field of IT with 3 years of hands on experience in writing reports for ORACLE Applications.
• Good working knowledge of ORACLE EBS Data Structure and reporting tools like ORACLE Developer Studio 10, ORACLE Reports 6i and 9i. Quest Toad for ORACLE.
• Expertise in PL/SQL and other query building tools.
• Knowledge of Linux Environment is a plus.
• Good working knowledge ORCALE Application Developer Responsibility.

Soft Skills

• Good communication and documentation skills in order to evaluate and document the requirements of report design accurately.
• Team Player as well as a strong individual performer.
