Role Purpose
The Logistics Officer at Nairobi office will be responsible for the overall effective delivery of the logistical support to programme offices in Somalia and Somaliland, in accordance with the Save the Children’s policies and procedures.
The Position Holder will also be expected to support the Nairobi office on day to day logistics matters. Specific duties includes, transportation, inventories, security, stock, assets and fleet management.

Qualifications and experience
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline, 3-5 years relevant experience in similar capacity, preferably in an INGO.
- Experience in training, managing and developing staff in logistics systems, excellent planning, coordination, and reporting skills, with the ability to organize substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities.
- Resourceful in ensuring effective support to programmes, Computer literacy (MS Office - Word, Excel) and good organisational skills.
