The Project Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the HIV and AIDS project at operational and technical levels, which is part of the HI Kenya Somalia sector’s programme strategy. He/she contributes towards the capitalization of experience gained from the project.
S/he is responsible for:-

- Ensuring implementation of project activities as per the proposal and action plan
- Managing the project’s financial, logistical and material resources

4) Actively contributing towards the capitalization of experience and knowledge management.
Required Profile

- Bachelor’s degree in public health and health sciences (preferably in medicine or nursing sciences) or social science with 5 years experience in Health programmes.
Experience
Required
- At least 3 years experience in project management, especially managing health related projects initiatives and donor reporting
- Working experience with persons with disabilities and vulnerable groups
- Working experience in USAID/PEPFAR funded projects is an added advantage
Skills
required:
Very good communication and writing skill; and strong analytical, synthesizing,
organizing and interpersonal skills
