Title: Sales Executive
Reports to: Sales and Marketing Manager
Based at: Head Office
Job purpose:
To plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of sanitation products in accordance with agreed business plans and set targets

To plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of sanitation products in accordance with agreed business plans and set targets
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database.
- Plan and carry out direct marketing activities (principally direct mail) to stay within agreed budgets and achieve target sales volumes.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
- Ensure that operating costs are kept as low as possible.
- Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
- Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for direct marketing and sales reporting purposes.
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
- Assist in the inspection of units on a regular basis to ensure that they are in working order and/or repairs are attended to promptly
Qualifications
- A minimum of a diploma in sales/Marketing. A degree is a plus.
- Have worked in the services industry. Those with experience working for a cleaning or waste or environmental company have an added advantage.
- There will be a retainer of K'sh 25,000.Commissions.
- Minimum age of 24 years and a maximum of 33 years. Client is looking for a young and energetic person.
- Able to think creatively.
- Leadership and initiative skills
- Ability to meet targets unsupervised.
