organization that provides care to children in crisis within our communities.
Kids Alive Kenya is looking for persons to fill the following positions:
Home Manager
1 Position
Kids Alive Nzooweni Home
We are looking for a God fearing, dynamic, confident, result-oriented Manager
to provide programmatic and spiritual leadership at the Home and within the
community through the “Families Together” Program.
The person will possess the
following qualifications:- A degree in social work / ministry with at least 3
years experience or a diploma with 5 years experience.
Self motivated, flexible and a good team player, specific working experience
with children ministries for at least 3 years, with a broad understanding of
children’s issues, knowledge of community participatory methodology and
training in HIV/AIDS care and management and experience in management,
leadership and accounting experience will be an added advantage
Social Workers
3 Positions
Kids Alive Karundas (Nyeri)
Kids Alive Nyando (Kisumu) and Kids Aive Nzoweni (Machakos)
The applicants must have a diploma in social/community work with at least 3
years experience or a Certificate in social/community development with 5 years
experience, good report writing skills, at least 2 years experience with
children ministries with broad understanding of children’s issues, knowledge of
community participatory methodology and computer literate.
Finance Manager
1 Position
Kids Alive Kenya, Nairobi
The overall responsibility of the Finance Manager will be maintaining proper
books of accounts, preparing financial statements/reports, bank reconciliation
and overall finance and administration management in line with the
organizational policies and procedures.
The person will possess the following qualifications degree in related field
(e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Economics, B.Com) and CPA (K) or
equivalent excellent knowledge of computer accounting packages with particular
emphasis on QuickBooks or Similar packages and MS Excel, at least 3 years
hands-on experience in the NGO Sector on management of donor funds as well as
donor reporting, strong analytical skills and ability to support field staff in
the financial account reporting honesty and Integrity and good analytical and
reporting skills
The applicants must be born again Christians having membership in a local
evangelical church.
