Position:
Business Performance Analyst - Mombasa
Reporting To: Financial Controller
One of the largest manufacturers of high quality edible vegetable oils & fats, margarine, and laundry & toilet soaps in the East and Central African region
Job Purpose: Management of all aspects of monthly financial management and statutory reporting process. In addition, the job holder will coordinate budgeting and forecasting process, champion budgetary control process and perform in-depth evaluation and analysis of various capex and business strategic options
Principle Accountabilities:

Job Purpose: Management of all aspects of monthly financial management and statutory reporting process. In addition, the job holder will coordinate budgeting and forecasting process, champion budgetary control process and perform in-depth evaluation and analysis of various capex and business strategic options
Principle Accountabilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts including preparation of relevant monthly management report pack
- Coordinate budgeting and budgetary control process including preparation of the relevant budget pack
- Coordination of quarterly/bi annual/ annual planning and forecasting process
- Coordinating and submitting monthly reconciliations file for further review
- Maintain Fixed Assets Register and come up with all the relevant schedules
- Preparation of relevant schedules and files in preparation for year-end statutory audit
- A key liaison person with external auditors for interim and final audit
- Perform various evaluation and analysis capex and strategic options
Qualifications
& Experience:
- A degree in Business related studies
- Fully qualified accountant – CPA(K)/ACCA
- At least five years experience, three of which must be in financial analysis and reporting for a large manufacturing concern
- Sound knowledge of budgeting and budgetary control process
- Sound knowledge on product process costing including standard costing and variance analysis
- Sound knowledge in projects evaluation and analysis
- Hands on experience in an ERP environment
- Highly energetic, eager to learn and with special attention to detail
