Position: Puma Production Coordinator Wildlife Works (Epz) Ltd
Reporting To: World Cat South Africa Branch Manager

Mission of the Job:
  • Support the RUKINGA factory team with structural and technical know-how and ensure that PUMA production- and PUMA quality standards are met.
  • Ensure on time delivery through follow up on production status.
  • Supply guidance to enhance the factory’s skills and capabilities and to increase efficiency and expand capacity.
  • Ensure that the GBS order data is maintained correctly and timeously.
Core Accountabilities:
  • Support and guide the WILDLIFE WORKS team in setting up the new factory equipment
  • Support and guide the daily production routine in the RUKINGA garment factory.
  • Train an guide WILDLIFE WORKS team on PUMA’s quality standards and exercise final inspections on PUMA orders.
  • Support and guide the development process of PUMA styles.
  • Support and guide RUKINGA team in planning and follow up of pre-production process (fabrics, trims, accessories).
  • Establish smooth cooperation with PUMA’s international (and national) nominated trims-, accessories- and fabric suppliers.
  • Monitor and submit weekly WiP reports to WCZA office and verify production status at the factory to ensure on time delivery
  • Support RUKINGA team in managing P0’s in GBS System (PUMA internal order system)
Requirements/Qualification.
  • Extensive experience as Production Manager (or Consultant) in garment manufacturing industry.
  • Good know how in screen-/pigment printing.
  • Structured way of thinking and very good organizational skills.
  • Excellent team worker with good social networking skills and very good communication skills.
  • Good computer knowledge in Excel/Word, ability to quickly adopt new skills on company internal programs (GBS).
  • Open minded and positive personality, strong will with ability to get things done.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, advantageous to speak Kiswahili and/or more Kenyan languages.
