Sales Executive – Logistics (Nairobi Kenya)
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
The Sales
Executive will responsible for obtaining competitive freight rates for
ocean/sea/land globally.
Rates are
obtained mainly through email and phone and must be provided to the customer
within minimal time frame.
Additional
Duties Include:
- Monthly sales reports
- Gather and organize data sheets
- Complete shipment reports
- Coordinate with shipper/consignee, other agents and carriers in planning shipments
- Monitor shipments and ensure flawless delivery
Experience:
- Previous experience in International Logistics required
- Experience working in an office environment
- Experience in Customer Service
- Negotiation experience is preferred
Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills (email/electronic documentation)
- Manage Time effectively/efficiently/independently
- Able to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities under pressure
- Be able to work independently or as a team
Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office
- Knowledge of Logistics
- Email knowledge is a must (outlook/thunderbird/etc.)
Reputation
- Must have good reputation among clients and previous employer
- Must be entertainer and good with PR
Records -
Must have proven records in Sales
Logistic

Sales Experience 4 years required in logistic related or similar
