HR Manager
Reporting
to the Group HR Manager, the HR Manager will be responsible for providing
strategic HR support to the business; developing, implementing and
evaluating people solutions for organisational objectives and challenges;
ensure the provision of fit for purpose HR service delivery to the business;
work closely with managers to develop solutions which meet business needs;
responsible for ensuring consistent global services by working closely with the
Group HR team.
Responsibilities
/ Key Objectives
- Build strong partnerships with Senior Leadership and Management teams
- Proactively identify opportunities for organisational improvement and help design credible and creative interventions that seek to improve organisational effectiveness and performance
- Assist with HR planning and pre-empt HR opportunities and risks.
- Develop and implement local Reward & Remuneration strategies within group framework to ensure competitive remuneration.
- Develop and implement local talent strategies and development of local skills.
- Develop and implement resourcing strategies and plans within the group framework.
- Develop, implement and maintain local HR policies and contribute to the development andimplementation of Group HR Policies
- Provide strong guidance on labour legislation and compliance
- Pro-actively work with Managers and HR team to ensure appropriate communication at all staff levels.
- Ensure accurate and relevant Management Information reporting for all reporting requirements
- Responsible for managing, mentoring, coaching and developing the HR team
- Build strong external relationships with key stakeholders and service providers.
Requirements:
- A degree in HR or Business Management or an equivalent;
- professional HR accreditation such as CIPD, SHRMP is preferred;
- at least eight years experience in similar role;
- preferred HR Business partner experience;
- HR Generalist experience in a multinational company;
- sound understanding of Organisation Development;
- experience in managing / supporting organisational change;
- knowledge of Talent Management; good understanding of Remuneration Practices; sound knowledge and application of local and international labour legislations; background in Petroleum or manufacturing sectors preferred.
