The
overall role of the incumbent will be to ensure proper identification, qualification
and timely response to sales leads and to prepare pitches of services offered
to new clients.
The Business Development Manager will specifically be responsible for the following:
The Business Development Manager will specifically be responsible for the following:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company;
- Establish sales targets and define the strategy to achieve these targets;
- Manage the proposal development process and maintain time-lines;
- Initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market;
- Follow-up new business opportunities and set-up discovery meetings to understand client requirements and project needs;
- Disseminate clients project requirements to project team for preparation of fee and scope proposals;
- Conduct on-site visits to scope the work;
- Conduct prospective clients’ risk-analysis;
- Oversee the development of relevant templates such as project needs analysis, Service Level Agreements and other relevant documentation;
- Facilitate and Coordinate with the in-house team and any consultants on any feasibility study components of proposals;
- Ensure new opportunities are converted business rate.
The
successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Construction, Project Management or Commercial and Business Administration;
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in Interior design, construction project management or a Commercial/ Marketing role;
- Strong customer account focus;
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills;
- Ability to implement and deliver short, medium and long strategies;
- Posses a “can do” attitude with a desire to make things happen at a very fast pace;
- Ability to interact with client representatives at all levels;
- High level of initiative and creativity.
