of Certified Securities and Investment Analysts (ICSIA)
ICSIA is the regional resource and advocacy body for the finance & investment profession, providing region-wide network and promoting the role of the profession in the fields of securities analysis, investment, pension funds, asset management, financial planning and financial modeling.
We
are globally affiliated to the Association of Professional Societies in East
Africa (APSEA) and the Association of Certified International Investment
Analysts (ACIIA) based in Switzerland.
Our
examining body is KASNEB.
The
Institute (ICSIA) wishes to fill the position of Administrative Officer.
Job
Title: Administrative Officer
Reporting
to the Secretary to the ICSIA Council, the holder will be responsible for all
administrative and financial aspects of the Institute in line with the
Institute’s strategic plan.
The
position requires an energetic, focused, creative and dependable individual who
is willing to take up new challenges and grow with the Institute.
Task
Description
- Developing
and implementing the Institute’s policies and the Council’s resolutions
- Providing
support services
- Attending
meetings of the Council and the Committees, and taking minutes
- Recruiting
CSIA graduates to be members of the Institute (ICSIA)
- Planning
and implementing membership services
- Invoicing
and collecting subscription from the members of the institute
- Maintaining
records of the Institute
- Establish
financial and accounting system for the Institute
- Arranging
Institutes seminars, workshops and conferences.
Education/Professional
Qualifications
The
applicant must be a holder of:
1.
Bachelors of Commerce or any other degree in a related field.
2.
Certified Securities and Investment Analysts (CSIA)
Additional
qualification in CPA, CPS, CCP or CICT will be an added advantage.
