Nation Media Group wishes to recruit freelance journalists and photographers to strengthen its news gathering network.
We are looking for
talented, innovative, independent and self-driven journalists and
photographers with proven writing and photography skills.
The freelance journalists
and photographers will be based in: Narok, Laikipia, Lamu, Tana River,
Samburu, Mandera, Wajir, Marsabit, Isiolo, Nyeri, Meru, Tharaka Nithi,
Embu, Kirinyaga, Muranga, Kisumu, Siaya, Nakuru, Migori, Homabay,
Nyamira, Bomet, Kericho, Vihiga, West Pokot, Turkana, Kiambu, Kitui,
Makueni, Machakos, Uasin Gishu and Kajiado.
The successful candidates will be required to write quality news stories and features for all NMG publications, as well as TV and radio scripts and/or shoot pictures.
Freelance Journalists

- University degree and training in journalism;
- Minimum two years work experience;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and with minimum supervision.
Photographers

- Diploma in mass communication and training in photography;
- Minimum two years work experience;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and with minimum supervision.
