Vacancy Announcement: Regional Sales and Marketing Manager
Reporting to the Regional General Manager and working with the Group Sales Director, the ideal candidate aged between 40 and 45 years of age will possess the following qualifications:
Business Degree (Marketing option).
A Post graduate qualification in sales and/or marketing will be an added advantage.
At least eight (8) years’ experience (with a verifiable track record) in the heavy construction equipment sale and service industry preferably in East Africa.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Excellent safety record.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Main duties will include the following:
- Market and industry segment analysis, sales strategy development, and customer profiling.
- Annual business plan and budget development and related execution to achieve targeted market share and profitability.
- Sales forecasting, inventory management, and related cash flow management.
- Regional sales team management, product knowledge and training. Responsible for sourcing, developing, training and management of a dynamic sales team.
- Key account management and expansion of key accounts in the region with a solutions-based approach, proposal management.
- Close interaction and focused teamwork with Regional Parts, Service, Finance, IT and HR Managers.
