Real IPM Contract Research Manager Job in Kichozi Farm, Thika, Kenya

Real IPM delivers cost effective, crop protection solutions, which significantly reduce chemical inputs and increase the yield and quality of fruit, flowers and vegetables.

The company is seeking to recruit a Contract Research Managerwith the following qualifications:

This is a Middle Management position based in Kichozi Farm, Thika but involves travelling within the country

Job Purpose: Lead in Implementation of Contract Research Projects and Coordinate Trials focused on Company Mission.

Education Qualification & Experience:

• BSc/Msc in Horticulture
• Minimum of 5 years experience:

1. Working in an active horticultural set up as a registration officer
2. Carrying out efficacy trials for registration purposes of crop protection substances
3. Designing and implementation of field experiments
4. Statistical analysis, report writing and presentation
5. Team leadership and management
6. Writing research proposals

Special Job Skills:

• An excellent communicator in English, and a strong team member
• An ability to lead and motivate staff
• Very good computer skills
