Summary: Our client is the umbrella company which owns and manages various internationally acclaimed fashion brands that meet the needs and preferences of a varied market segment; and is seeking to recruit a focused, dynamic, self-driven professional of high integrity to fill the position of a Sales and Agency Manager.

This position is responsible for marketing, promoting and selling the Life Fitness range of equipment and accessories.
The person will direct and coordinate sales efforts of the Direct Sales staff. Special attention to be paid to agency sales where leading players in the fitness industry will be incorporated to be sales agents on behalf of our client.
Primary Responsibilities:

- Develop Sales Strategy
- Implement and maintain an effective sales strategy to meet sales objectives
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales reports to the General Manager
- Develop sales proposals, presentations and negotiations
- Research and analyze the current market trends
- Identify opportunities in the sales territory and operations
- Mentor & coach Direct Sales staff on product offerings and sales best practice
- Assist in the creation of adequate sales capacity and optimization of sales resources.
- Monitor the performance and development of an effective and well motivated Direct Sales agents
- Developing and executing sales promotions and marketing programs
- Process sales commission claims
- Liaise with stores in terms of inventory and provide admin support to the Direct Sales Agents and Agencies on sales activations
- Keeps records of LPOs, sales training materials and partnering agreements
Experience: At least 5 years experience with 3 years of sales management in the service industry of FMCG
Skills and Certification:
Skills and Certification:
- A business degree in sales or marketing or related discipline from a recognised institution. A post graduate diploma in marketing will be an added advantage
- Experience in drafting, coordinating and producing competitive sales proposals
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Working with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines.
- Competent driver with BCE license
- Working knowledge of Ms office a must
