Suraya Property Group Limited, one of the leading and fast growing real estate development companies in Kenya is undertaking and plans to undertake major development projects ranging from master planning, scheme design, detail design, supervision, services designs and other construction related activities in projects spread in a number of counties and cities in Kenya.

Urban Designer

Suraya has a very exciting opportunity for an urban designer to join a highly respected planning group of professionals.
 

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an urban designer to complement the existing team architects and engineers.
 

You will be involved in a broad range of mixed use and regeneration projects in urban design and master planning.
 

Individuals who have worked on residential schemes and social amenities would be of particular interest. Skills, Knowledge and Experience;
 

Ability to design at a high level employing a range of drawing and modeling skills.
 

Ability to research, write and illustrate print-ready reports related to urban design.
 

Critical yet creative approach to urban design.

Qualifications

• A degree in architecture or other built environmental design discipline.
• A post-graduate diploma or master’s degree in urban design or other cognate discipline.

Personal Qualities

• Creative/ imaginative.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of an established team.
• IT literate.
