The Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA) is a State Corporation established under the National Treasury pursuant to the Unclaimed Financial Assets Act No. 40 of 2011.
The primary mandate of the Authority is to obtain unclaimed financial assets from the holders of such assets on behalf of the Government, safeguard and re-unite the assets with their rightful owners.
UFAA would like to invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following position:

Job Profile
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, s/he will be responsible for:
- Planning, developing, coordinating and ensuring delivery of the Authority’s ICT needs including policy, operational manuals and Departmental budgets
- Preparing technical specifications for procurement of hardware and software and liaising with vendors
- Developing, maintaining and supporting Authority’s database, including network infrastructure, data communication and telecommunication systems and ICT security
- Managing all installations, upgrades, enhancements, administration and maintenance of the ICT infrastructure and equipment, ensuring that the LAN, telephone systems and WAN are operational
- Advising management on current and future ICT trends
Person Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related discipline from a University recognized by the Commission for University Education
- Member of ICT professional body
- Masters degree in relevant field.
- At least 7 years working in a busy ICT environment with exposure in hardware, software and network applications, 3 of which should be at a senior management level
- Experience with database management systems especially Oracle and SQL server platforms
Terms and Conditions
- Successful candidates for the above positions will be offered a competitive remuneration package.
- Appointments will be for a contractual period of four (4) years renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
