Insurance Brokerage Industry is in need of a Business Analyst
Position: Business Analyst (Technology)
Reporting To: Executive Director
Overall Job Purpose: The position determines the requirements of a project, analyses, documents and communicates them clearly to all stakeholders and partners.
It is the bridge between the business side and the technology terms.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with strategy & operations team to determine requirements, processes, scope & documentation.
- Work with development team to interpret the business requirements into tech solutions
- Work with project managers (internal & external) to schedule, plan and implement tech solutions
- Determine cost/budget for tech development
- Be at the forefront of determining the best tech solutions based on the business requirement and play a tech advisory role to the business directors.
- MIS degree or related degree
- A minimum of three (3) years experience as a Business Analyst (Technology)
- Project Management Skills (Professional qualification in Project Management an added advantage)
- Understand strategy and operations/business
Disposition
- Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills.
- The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis.
- Business case development.
- Maturity and ability to engage at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional persuasion and communication skills
- Strong analytic and decision-making abilities
- Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
