Area Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Achievement of volume\brand mix targets, availability, visibility, quality, and customer price targets within respective region.
- Effectively manage the distributors and wholesalers in the area of designation to ensure business growth and development.
- Manage, train, coach and motivate the Sales Representatives in order to deliver trade and distribution activities superior to competition in respect of both core and added value services.
- Co-ordinate implementation of brand and trade programs in the area of operation.
- Ensure minimal commercial risks in the area.
- Consolidation of market intelligence data in the area.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position in an FMCG Company.
- Past experience dealing with multiple products.
- Thorough understanding of trade dynamics.
- A Self-driven personality with demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated good leadership skills, team player, good communicator, good negotiation and influencing skills.
- Degree in Business administration - Marketing. A post graduate degree will be an added advantage.
- Valid driving license.
Sales Representatives
Responsibilities: -
- Ensure achievement of volume\brand mix targets, availability and product visibility.
- Negotiate and take orders from customers through scheduled or periodical visits, ensuring that that the trade coverage and visit frequency targets are met according to the route plans.
- Provide data and maintain accurate market activity reports on competitor activities and distribution performance.
- Identify New Business Development opportunities and maximize on them.
- Build solid working relationships with distributors and wholesalers in the area of designation to ensure business growth and development.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Minimum 2 -4 years’ experience in a similar position in an FMCG Company.
- Past experience dealing with multiple products.
- Thorough understanding of trade dynamics.
- A Self-driven personality.
- Team player, good communicator, good negotiation and influencing skills.
- Degree in Business administration - Marketing. A post graduate degree will be an added advantage.
- Valid driving license.
