Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- A Bachelor’s degree in Planning/Statistics/Health Informatics, Economics, with a postgraduate qualification in Management
- Have relevant knowledge, experience and a distinguished career of not less than seven (7) years in policy, planning and monitoring
- Sound financial management skills
- A relevant Masters degree will be an added advantage;
- Proficiency in Computer applications
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies, policies and procedures in relation to strategic planning, research, monitoring and evaluation ;
- Facilitate and compile departmental strategic documents, ie Five-year Strategic Plan, Annual Performance Plan, etc ;
- Determine and implement the Departmental Research Programmes;
- Conduct impact studies of major departmental interventions;
- Develop and implement an effective monitoring and evaluation system that complies with Government legislation ;
- Develop monitoring and evaluation tools for all departmental interventions ;
- Continuously monitor the Department’s performance against its plans ;
- Develop quarterly and annual performance reports.
