Salary Scale: Ksh.48,190 x 2,400 – 50,590 x 2,550 – 53,140 x 2,700 – 55,840 x 3,000 – 58,840 x 3,150 – 61,990 x 3,300 – 65,290 p.m.
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable
- A holder of a Bachelor of Architecture or bachelor of Building Economics or Bachelor of Quantity Surveying. Additional academic qualification shall be an added advantage,
- A minimum of four years work experience in government agency, busy private professional Architectural, Quantity Surveying or related practice or construction business organization.
- Have a strong planning and organizing and interpersonal skills including a thorough and methodical approach and ability to prioritize on work requirements.
- Able to work under pressure and with short times lines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To lead and work with Ministry staff to provide the needed support to ensure building construction and related products and services are provided efficiently in the manner required by clients;
- Supervise and direct staff according to projects requirements and respective administrative issues;
- The candidate should be able to work well with cutting edge technology in architecture;
- Be able to perform the work to the required standards to ensure that the function, processes and activities at each stage meet the required quality;
- Attend management and projects meetings and provide administrative and work/ projects reports to the chief officer on a regular basis or a need basis.
