Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating patients;
• Coordinating the implementation of the County Minimum Health Care Package;
• Supervising health information management systems;
• Carrying out human resource management functions;
• Providing health service delivery standards manuals;
• Developing and implementing Continuous Professional Development;
• Preparing and submitting periodic reports to relevant authorities;
• Supervise Health Facility based officers.

Requirements for Appointment

• Be a Kenyan citizen
• Bachelor of Science Degree either in Medicine or surgery
• Must be registered with Medical practitioners and Dentist Board and in good standing
• Have relevant knowledge, experience and a distinguished career of not less than seven (7) years in medicine and surgery
• A relevant Masters degree will be an added advantage;
• Proficiency in Computer applications
