Our client;  a well known company in the animal production industry seeks to hire an assistant farm manager whose key responsibilities is to coordinate, supervise all the farm activities as directed or as advised by the farm manager.

Job Description

• Coordinates and supervises all livestock production activities
• Monitor the livestock for disease and injuries
• Coordinates and supervise fodder and pasture management activities
• Manage all the records in the farm
• Supervise cleaning and inspecting cleanliness especially in the livestock houses
• Write weekly, Quarterly and yearly reports under the supervision of the manager
• Will also do others duties delegated to him/her by the farm manager

Qualifications/Skills

• Diploma holder in animal production
• A certificate in Animal production related field an added advantage (A.I services, Livestock, health Management etc.)
• Knowledgeable in animal husbandry
• Fodder establishment and management  skills
• Energetic and enthusiastic person
• Good reporting and presentation skills
• Linguistic (English, Kiswahili + any Kenyan Dialect)
• Computer Literate
• Team player with low temperament
